People have been asking for a donkey a lot. I love donkeys and they are so cute, but I didn't feel just a normal donkey would be right for me. While painting in Turkey, I took some long walks and kept passing the most beautiful patches of poppies. The image of this cute donkey in a poppyfield just popped up in my head, and I'm so happy I had some time to put it on paper right away. Doesn't it give you such happy, chill vibes?
