Anne Frank is part of my Amsterdam series. It started with the idea of drawing animals on the Albert Cuyp market, eating stroopwafels. I loved drawing the city around it so much, that I decited to draw the rest of this beautiful city too, with al the "people" in it. Just as animals, like I usually like imagining. Anne Frank has such a big part the in history of world war 2 in Amsterdam. She certainly needs a part in my Amsterdam series, a commemorance of all the people that got stuck in wars of hatefull, greedy people. May the world become a better place for all of the people living in it!
