A lightweight, soft cotton tee that features a polaroid with two marmots kissing under the streetsign at the liefde in Amsterdam. Like any city, Amsterdam is constantly changing. Things can look one way and you come back a year later to find it completely different. De Liefde (The Love) is the name of a building on a street by the same name. The street bears the name of a church by that name that used to be situated there. I discovered the gate that leads to the building when I just moved to Amsterdam and have always loved the name and the art in the gate.
This is a part of my Amsterdam series. I love drawing the city around my animals so much, that I decided to make all my favourite places in this wonderfull city. A kind of love letter to the city I love living in so much. You can personalize this print by putting your own text on the polaroid under the image.
