It started with the idea of drawing animals on the Albert Cuyp market, eating stroopwafels. I loved drawing the city around it so much, that I decited to draw the rest of this beautiful city too, with al the "people" in it. Just as animals, like I usually like imagining. Like any city, Amsterdam is constantly changing. Things can look one way and you come back a year later to find it completely different. Although the Rijksmuseum itself will stay the same, Museumplein has changed over the years. There used to be a shallow pond. In the summer they had planters with beautiful flowers and in the winter they'd make it into a skating rink. It is no longer there, but in this drawing my favourite version of Museumplein will live on forever.

Shipping in NL is free after €30,-, in Europe after €45,- and the rest of the world over €90,-

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0283/2406/9428/files/Museumplein_ad8e7368-4c28-49da-b9a0-0f970e8d1993.jpg?v=1783678090
